What.

What indeed...

I'm so proud of myself for actually hammering out a full strip like this. It's actually starting to come easily again. Be fun again. It's sweet how just a tiny realization can bring that on. There's still plenty of concept art and sketches to upload before it's all said and done, so a lot of the stress is gone. :D I'm glad about that. Chance and I were discussing it earlier when I was working on Monday's strip (I'm making a buffer -- I've got to do a project for English soon and it's a...you guessed it! comic) and he said "Yeah, see? This is so good. It's back to just the plain funny." It made him laugh, and he's usually a great barometer as to how other people will react to it. It makes me feel accomplished.

So, what do you guys think of the character redesigns? Joe still needs to be changed up a bit and Justin looks too badass to change, honestly, so I decided to keep his outfit as is. The Author's new look is probably my favorite, but I haven't made the Joe redesign yet. I'm not really sure how I want him to look...he's been wearing that shirt forever. But yeah...where is the crew now? What have they got themselves into?

Anyhoo, what I'm doing is sort of explaining what I'm doing here in the context of the strip, mostly because it's funny and also because it's just entertaining for me to see how the characters react to being face to face with The Author. It's pretty sweet. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Joe out.
