My Own Worst Enemy

Just so we all know, he is NOT actually my own worst enemy. :D He's my dearly loved older brother to whom I owe quite a lot of money praise and appreciation.

To be honest, I'm surprised that none of our forum goers or even any of the people who read the front page figured him out sooner. However, I felt like I was stretching things a bit too thin and wanted to get him into the spotlight as soon as possible. Character design? Totally based off of Vergil (DMC), Albert Wesker (RE), and Graem Bauer (24). I think he looks very much the part of a supremely evil genius and am glad to finally have him aboard as a cast member.

We're doing well so far, but the actual mini-arc we're in now won't last for too much longer -- this was all about setting things up (and I am also in the mood for some more silliness, what with spring break coming up soon; there's always a wealth of inspiration for funnies that come from that). What matters here is introducing characters, pushing the underlying narrative of 362 along, and practicing balancing funny with story. There's been a lot of studying Sam and Fuzzy, Real Life, and Blue and Blond going on here, so I apologize for anything that seems a little out of character for me. It's all about practice.

Anyway guys, thanks again for sticking with us. I reeeally want to thank everyone who's been keeping up with the erraticness of it all. It's been a huge confidence boost to see the analytics page be like "ZOMG THEY'RE STILL HERE AND GROWING!" I suppose there's no way of knowing how many of those readers are going to be coming back next week, but that's part of the excitement. :) And for those of you who DO like the comic, please keep spreading the word.* Who knows? Maybe we'll have an awesomely large awesome fanbase of awesome as opposed to our awesome-yet-small awesome fanbase of awesome.

Joe out.

*Ceili is exempted from this, as probably half the readers we have are from her pimping it.

**Then again, she is encouraged to keep doing so if she likes.
