State of the Comic #1

I had a really long newspost here, but thanks to the wonders of technology, I lost it all. Long story short, we're making a lot of changes here at 362, but break is rarely the best time of year to be doing any of it. I draw a lot of my inspiration for the strip back home in Columbia, and being back at my parents' place is hardly the location most conducive to drawing comic strips. Once we all get back in the swing of things for the new semester, hopefully we can get back on track.

I still hope to get the store set up properly before the end of the break as well as get some more merch designs done (I think we're going to try start out with the type of stuff you get for free at those business conventions -- mugs, pens, and other shit, GO!). We're still looking into manufacturers for Lamarr plushies as well as getting the design ironed out, so I hope we can get those worked out before we head to our next convention, which I'm still in the process of getting scheduled. The plan is still to go to Otakon and San Diego...all I need to do is finish the paperwork.

Oh yeah, I really am getting my wisdom teeth taken out tomorrow, so I'll get knocked flat on my ass for the next couple of days...the odds of updating regularly are slim to none at this point, but who knows? Maybe I'll go Hunter S. Thompson and crank out some really amazing stuff while I forget what my name is.

Joe out.

can't stop here -- this is bat country.
